Some items to bring Just wanted to share more information on items you should bring. There's a list also on the newsletter for the trip which was sent on previous email and also available on the website.
Also remember our Zoom Meeting tomorrow at 6:00PM EST.
Important Items
Passport + other type of ID, License it's ok.
Misc. spending cash (tips, gifts etc)
Clothing for 7 days (Laundry services are available in most lodges for a fee). We do make a stop at a laundry halfway throught the trip. It's very inexpensive and worth it. So there's no need to pack your suitcase with clothing for 14 days. Bring jeans or long pants that could be re-used. Washcloths or small towels to take on day trips.
Swimsuit (There are plenty of ops to hit the water)
Hiking Shoes or boots.
Rain poncho or jacket (It rains often)
Headlamp (preferred) or flashlight for night hikes.
Chargers and batteries for all your electronics devices.
Any prescribed medications.
Basic first aid items (aspirin, band-aids)
Bird Guide (phone app is best and it's free) Merlin from Cornell Labs - you must download Costa Rica Pack.
