Few Reminders

Travel light! There are laundry services in most lodges, and we always make a stop at our favorite laundry halfway through the trip. In essence you can bring enough clothes for a 7-8 days as you'll have the opportunity to get laundry done. We suggest one medium/large suitcase per person and a small carry-on if needed.

Here are few essentials you can't miss

  • Passport
  • Vaccination Card (Covid-19)
  • Photo gear (camera, flash, batteries and chargers, memory cards, laptop or a way to backup files).
  • Headlamp with batteries (we shoot a lot at night)
  • Any prescribed medication, you may need while abroad.
  • Cash for souvenirs, tips or any other incidentals.
While we have plenty of markets and places where to get anything you may need, keep in mind, not every brand you find in the U.S. will be available in Costa Rica.

Covid Travel Update

We may be required to have proof of vaccination with us at all times. Some establishments may require the use of mask. We recommend you bring a few disposable masks just in case.

On your return flight to the U.S., you will be required to have a negative antigen test in order to get on your flight. We have arranged for that test to be done the day before departure.

Flight & Logistics

We are still missing flight information from some of you. Remember is very important you send us your airline, flight number and arrival time as we have participants arriving from different states and at different times, and want to make sure we pick up everybody on time.
