We are making some adjustments to the itinerary to maximize your time in Tanzania and help reduce costs. Originally, the plan included a flight from Tanzania to Kenya—a one-hour journey that would have disrupted the entire day and cost between $300 and $600. After careful consideration, including the time spent at airports before departure and upon arrival, we’ve identified a better alternative: traveling to Amboseli by land.

Instead of flying and then driving five hours from Nairobi to Amboseli, we’ll spend July 27 exploring another site in Tanzania and drive directly to Amboseli the following day, crossing into Kenya via the Namanga Border. We're currently evaluating options like Arusha National Park or Materuni Falls for the additional day in Tanzania. We’re also working on accommodations for this updated plan and will share the final details by the end of the month.
