Flight & Logistics
If you're prepared to book your flight tickets, feel free to proceed. Ensure that your flight arrives at SJO (Juan Santamaría International) no later than 1 pm on June 3rd. If, for any reason, this is not feasible, we suggest flying in on June 2nd to guarantee your presence at the tour location ahead of time. In fact, as tour leaders, we will be enroute to Costa Rica on June 2nd. We can make arrangements for your hotel stay and airport pick-up as needed if you decide to arrive a day earlier.
|
Currently, the flights from MCO-SJO range from $439 to $550 on the lower end. Please take note of the flight durations. While you might come across attractive deals, some flights take 17+ hours to reach the destination, so exercise caution when making your booking. Our recommended airlines include JetBlue and Copa, the latter making a brief stop in Panama. It might be prudent to wait a bit and monitor price fluctuations if you don't find a flight within the range mentioned above. Obviously this depends also on your departure city. If you have inquiries regarding flight options or any other logistical matters, feel free to reach out to us.

More Resources for you
In case you overlooked any of these resources on our sign-up page, here are links to our itinerary, newsletter, and a captivating article from one of our initial trips to Costa Rica in 2007, authored by Gary White. The newsletter includes valuable details on essential items, dining, and photographic techniques to enhance your image capture during your time in Costa Rica. Throughout the trip, nightly briefings will outline the next day's activities. Additionally, we will offer photography feedback and engage in discussions about the wildlife you'll encounter.
|
A month prior to departure we'll have a ZOOM meeting to answer any questions you may have regarding the tour, arrival procedures, what to bring, how to dress etc. If you have any questions feel free to email me at info@wildstockphotos.com
